Viktor, an AI agent designed to assist in workplace tasks, has successfully raised $75 million in Series A funding, attracting investments from notable firms including Accel, Bek Ventures, and Kaya VC. The funding round also saw participation from angel investors such as Slack cofounders Stewart Butterfield and Cal Henderson, highlighting the growing interest in workplace AI solutions.
Since its public debut in February, Viktor has achieved an impressive $15 million annualized revenue run rate and gained over 2,000 users across diverse sectors, including e-commerce and technology. It operates within platforms like Slack and Microsoft Teams, acting as a virtual coworker that streamlines knowledge work by handling tasks such as report generation and app development.
The collaboration between co-founders Peter Albert and Fryderyk Wiatrowski at Meta sparked the creation of Viktor after they explored AI's potential in simplifying work processes. Their previous venture, JaceAI, informed the development of Viktor, leading to a realization that a more integrated AI solution was necessary.
Viktor is capable of connecting with various business systems, including Google Drive and Shopify, and can autonomously identify improvements in workflows. In one instance, it identified a modification in Meta Ads that could save $10,000 weekly in advertising costs.
