Qualtrics is undergoing a significant leadership shakeup as CEO Jason Maynard implements changes just weeks after assuming his role. Five top executives have exited the company, which is headquartered in Provo, Utah, and Seattle, with Maynard describing the restructuring as a necessary step to streamline operations and prepare for future growth.
Departing leaders include Brad Anderson, the president overseeing products and engineering, and Eddie Chen, who served as chief strategy officer. Others affected are Jeff Gelfuso, the chief product officer, Juan Rodriguez Estevez, the chief information officer, and Lynn Girotto, the chief marketing officer. Anderson, with over five years at Qualtrics, was recognized by Maynard for his contributions, having previously held a senior role at Microsoft.
The restructuring will also see a reorganization of teams across various departments, including marketing and IT, with a new senior vice president for marketing expected to be announced shortly. Qualtrics has not disclosed the total number of employees affected by these changes, nor has it made a public statement about the leadership transitions, which aim to enhance operational efficiency and expedite the launch of new AI features.
