A recent auction organized by GeekWire has successfully raised $100,000 for Seattle Children’s Hospital, thanks to a premium suite experience for the upcoming 2026 World Cup donated by Microsoft. The winning bid was placed by UiPath, a company known for its advancements in AI automation, which is expanding its operations in Bellevue, Washington.
The auction commenced earlier this month during the GeekWire Awards, where notable figures including Cristian Roldan, captain of the Seattle Sounders FC, and Microsoft’s Brian DeFoe promoted the initiative.
