After 12 years of operation, all outlets of the New York-based patisserie Lady M in Singapore have closed, with locations at Orchard Central, Ion Orchard, Westgate, and South Beach marked as permanently closed. The Jewel Changi Airport store is currently listed as temporarily closed.
Despite this closure, Lady M plans to reestablish its presence in Singapore. A statement released on January 13 indicated that a "new Lady M experience" is set to launch soon. The company, founded in 2001 and expanded to Singapore in 2013, ended its licensing agreement with Caerus Holding on December 11, 2025, allowing for a more direct operational approach.
CEO Ken Romaniszy emphasized that direct involvement in the Singapore market will enhance customer experience and brand consistency. Lady M remains an active entity in Singapore, as confirmed by checks on the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority's Bizfile portal.
Previously, the brand faced challenges in China, where it closed all outlets in 2022 before reopening its first directly operated store in Shanghai in November 2024.
