In a significant expansion of its retail presence, Apple has officially reopened its Sainte-Catherine store in Montreal, which now occupies more than double the space of its previous location. This reopening coincides with the restoration of a historic building in the downtown area, reflecting Apple's commitment to blending modern retail design with classic architecture.
Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s senior vice president of Retail and People, expressed enthusiasm for the store's reopening, emphasizing the company’s long-standing relationship with the Montreal community. She highlighted the store as a destination for customers to engage with innovative products and receive expert support.
The redesigned store incorporates accessibility features, such as varied seating heights and wider pathways for wheelchair users, while also preserving key architectural elements of the historic structure. To celebrate the occasion, local illustrator Catherine Potvin held live art demonstrations at the store, creating personalized illustrations for customers.
