T-Mobile has introduced a new family plan named Better Value, aimed at delivering premium features at a competitive price. The plan is priced at $140 monthly for three lines, contingent on using AutoPay, equating to approximately $46 per line, exclusive of taxes and fees. For additional lines, the cost escalates by $30 for each of the next five lines, and by $40 for lines nine through twelve.
This offering is designed to rival T-Mobile's existing Experience More plan while providing advantages akin to the pricier Experience Beyond tier. The Better Value plan features a five-year price guarantee on talk, text, and data, assuring customers of stable costs over a significant period, although the guarantee will lapse after five years.
Among its notable features are unlimited premium data on T-Mobile's 5G network and a generous 250GB of high-speed hotspot data before throttling. Additionally, customers receive 30GB of high-speed data for travel in Mexico and Canada, as well as the same amount for international use in over 215 countries. Also included are unlimited text and data through satellite-optimized applications and a complimentary entertainment package featuring Netflix and Hulu, alongside discounts for Apple TV and Home Internet Backup add-ons.
To qualify, users must have at least three lines, as single-line options are not available, complicating eligibility for existing customers wishing to switch.
