Pit, a startup from Stockholm, has attracted attention within the AI sector, recently securing a $16 million seed round led by a16z. The company aims to create custom software for enterprises by learning from their operational processes, as explained by CEO Adam Jafer.
Jafer, who co-founded the venture after a notable seven-year stint at Voi, is joined by former engineers from iZettle and Klarna. The startup’s approach focuses on automating internal business functions without customer-facing interactions, emphasizing back-office efficiencies.
Starting mid-January, Pit began pilot testing with clients across telecommunications, healthcare, and logistics. The company differentiates itself by offering services through Pit Studio and Pit Cloud, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. As Pit prepares for commercial scaling, it is actively recruiting solution engineers to facilitate enterprise adoption of its technology.
