The World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops ranking for 2026 was unveiled during CoffeeFest Madrid, highlighting the exceptional stature of a Singaporean café, Apartment Coffee, which secured the sixth position. This marks the café's second consecutive year in this prestigious spot, reaffirming its status as the top coffee establishment in Asia.
Founded by Yeo Qing He, the 2018 Singapore Brewers Cup Champion, Apartment Coffee opened eight years ago and relocated to Selegie in 2022. In June 2025, it expanded with the launch of Apartment Roastery in Serangoon. The café is celebrated for its serene atmosphere and a carefully curated menu focused on the art of pour-over coffee, with beans sourced from renowned coffee-producing regions worldwide.
Apartment Coffee also emphasizes the guest experience, opting not to offer takeaway services, which sets it apart from many local competitors. Its accolades include a second-place finish in the 2022 Singapore Brewers Cup and first place at the 2019 Singapore Roaster Forum, with the sixth-place achievement in the World’s 100 Best Coffee Shops ranking further solidifying its reputation in the competitive coffee landscape.
