In a significant legal development, several notable cases involving residents of Marion and Polk counties are slated for trial in 2026. Among those is Adam Lansky, 42, who faces charges related to a firebombing incident at a Tesla dealership in Salem.
Lansky is scheduled for a three-day trial starting on March 3 in U.S. District Court in Portland. The allegations include attempted arson of property used in interstate commerce and unlawful possession of an unregistered destructive device. Police responded to reports of Molotov cocktails being thrown at the dealership located at 2755 Mission St. SE on January 20, resulting in damages estimated at around $500,000.
Additionally, a high-profile case involves Alexa Montano Corral, 20, who is set for a 10-day jury trial on February 9 in Benton County. Corral and co-defendant Julia Dell Yepez are accused of attempted murder and robbery after allegedly using a dating app to lure a victim for theft. Yepez’s trial has yet to be scheduled.
