The last remaining outlet of Pull&Bear in Singapore will close on February 22 at VivoCity, marking the end of the brand's presence in the country. The Spanish fashion retailer, part of the Inditex Group, has announced that customers can still return items purchased online or in-store at the nearby Zara store.
Pull&Bear first entered the Singapore market in 2006 and peaked with four locations. However, the brand has faced challenges, including a decline in physical stores, as seen with other labels like Bershka, which previously had multiple outlets but now operates solely online. The closure follows a trend of global store reductions by Inditex, which has shut down over 100 stores in the current year alone as part of its strategy to enhance financial stability.
While the reasons for Pull&Bear's departure remain unclear, the company has not ruled out future e-commerce opportunities in Singapore, though its website is currently down. Inquiries for further information have been directed to Pull&Bear and Inditex.
