In less than a year since its launch, Pronto has become a significant player in India's home-services sector, managing over 18,000 daily bookings by early 2026. Founded by Indian entrepreneur Anjali Sardana, the startup connects households with trained domestic workers through a mobile application.
Sardana, who graduated from Georgetown University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science in biology, previously worked at investment firms such as Bain Capital and 8VC before establishing her company in April 2025. Initially operating from a single hub in Gurugram, Pronto has expanded to over ten cities, including Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai.
The platform aims to professionalize a sector traditionally characterized by informal arrangements by recruiting, training, and verifying workers for household tasks. With a focus on efficiency, many services can be accessed in under ten minutes, marking a notable shift in how domestic assistance is provided.
