Tokyo will soon welcome the first physical Google Store outside the United States, set to open this summer in the Omotesando district. This store will mark the 11th location in Google's expanding retail network, following years of growth in hardware sales, particularly with the Pixel lineup in Japan.
Located on the first floor of the Omokado Tokyu Plaza, the store aims to appeal to the high-end market, featuring a design inspired by Japanese aesthetics, including wooden elements in its storefront. Visitors can anticipate a wide selection of new Pixel devices, exclusive merchandise, and even special color variations.
The store will also provide support services for customers, including workshops and assistance for Pixel and Fitbit users. Online orders can be picked up directly from the store once it opens. Meanwhile, the 10th Google Store is scheduled to launch in May, continuing the company's retail expansion.
