Disneyland is currently commemorating its 70th anniversary, which began in May 2025 and will conclude on August 9, 2026. The park is adorned with themed merchandise, food offerings, and various celebratory events, including the Paint the Night parade and Wondrous Journeys fireworks show. Following the anniversary, the park will transition to Halloween decorations on August 21, followed by holiday themes starting November 18.
In addition to the anniversary festivities, three new rides and a vast Avatar-themed area are under construction at Disneyland. Meanwhile, at Walt Disney World in Florida, four new themed lands are being developed, focusing on Pixar characters and Disney villains. Notably, the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster is set to reopen as a Muppets-themed attraction on May 26, following significant renovations after the closure of MuppetVision 3D.
