The Global Innovation Forum 2026 (GIF 2026) is set to take place on January 7 at Caesars Palace Las Vegas, coinciding with CES 2026. This event will gather startups, media, government-backed innovation agencies, and venture capital firms from seven countries, aiming to facilitate international collaboration and investment.
Hosted by the Seoul Business Agency (SBA) in partnership with CES national pavilions, GIF 2026 will feature a pitch competition where each participating nation—South Korea, Canada, Switzerland, Israel, Japan, Taiwan, and France—will present one selected startup. These startups will showcase their innovative projects in front of global venture firms and strategic partners, focusing on attracting investment.
A panel discussion will follow the pitches, focusing on insights regarding international market expansion and collaboration opportunities. Kiseok Cha, who heads the SBA’s Future Strategy division, emphasized that the organization is dedicated to supporting emerging businesses through various programs in fields such as IT, AI, and biotech.
