Hong, a 24-year-old Stanford dropout, has a rich history in mathematics, beginning her journey in Guangzhou, China. Strong performances in mathematics competitions led to her admission to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she distinguished herself with numerous research papers and advanced coursework. In 2023, she received the Frank and Brennie Morgan Prize for her exceptional contributions to number theory and probability.
After studying computational neuroscience at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar, Hong switched her focus to law and mathematics at Stanford, where she met AI researcher Shubho Sengupta. This encounter played a pivotal role in the formation of Axiom Math, further solidifying Hong's commitment to innovating within the AI sector.
