Apple has reached the $3 million limit on its donations to the Global Fund, confirmed by the official (RED) account on Threads. From now until December 7, the tech giant has been donating $5 for every qualifying purchase made through Apple Pay.
This initiative, which began on November 28, encourages customers to support the fight against AIDS. Through its long-standing partnership with (RED), Apple has contributed over $270 million since 2006, funding essential health programs focused on HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment.
Donations are made for purchases at Apple Stores, the Apple Store app, and online. The campaign is part of Apple's ongoing efforts to raise awareness around World AIDS Day, observed on December 1.
