Amazon has introduced new expedited delivery options, allowing customers to receive their orders in as little as one hour. This service is now available for over 90,000 products throughout the United States, with 1-hour delivery present in hundreds of cities and 3-hour delivery in over 2,000 towns.
The company is enhancing the shopping experience by integrating new messaging for eligible items within the Same-Day shopping section. Customers can easily identify products that qualify for these rapid delivery times through search filters labeled “in 1 hour” or “in 3 hours” on a dedicated storefront page.
To access these services, Prime members will incur fees of $9.99 for 1-hour delivery and $4.99 for 3-hour delivery, while non-members will pay $19.99 and $14.99 respectively. Amazon plans to broaden these delivery options further in the coming months, potentially leading to adjustments in fees or new membership tiers.
