Over 27,000 drivers have committed to TADA's new initiative, named Hotpot, which is designed to enhance earnings while reducing reliance on high-commission ride-hailing platforms. The program, announced on December 17, includes a S$1 million investment to fund cash incentives for drivers, rewarding them with points for every completed trip.
Drivers accumulate TADA points that determine their eligibility for weekly rewards, distributed every Friday evening. This community-focused approach allows drivers to be grouped into tiers: Gold, Silver, and Bronze, based on their performance. When a collective target of trips is achieved, drivers benefit from enhanced group rewards.
Since its inception in Singapore in 2018, TADA has operated on a zero-commission basis, allowing drivers to keep more of their earnings. The program's first week saw over 8,000 drivers complete nearly 29,000 trips, with pledged participants earning more than 1.5 times compared to those who did not participate. The parent company, MVL, maintains a transparent record of contributions on its blockchain.
Looking ahead, TADA aims to expand the Hotpot initiative further by early 2026, introducing community-driven decision-making and additional funding.
