Meta is enhancing the user interface of WhatsApp by introducing the Liquid Glass design to the in-chat experience. Although some users have begun to see this new aesthetic, the rollout has been slower than anticipated, with many still waiting for access to the update.
Initially tested last year, the Liquid Glass look was first applied to the app's bottom navigation and certain elements of the Chats tab. Reports from WABetaInfo in early October indicated that the update was progressing, but extensive availability remains limited.
Currently, the beta version accessible through TestFlight is being updated, and features such as a floating chat bar and a semi-transparent navigation bar with depth and blur effects are being incorporated. However, as this feature is still in beta, it is uncertain when an official release will occur.
