The productivity app Tasks has received a significant update, introducing over 50 new app intents that enhance its integration with Siri, Shortcuts, and Spotlight. This update, version 4.3, is designed to streamline user experience by allowing features like automatic task reminders and personalized grocery lists when users arrive at stores.
Originally launched in 2020, Tasks serves as a comprehensive to-do list application that includes functionalities such as projects, subtasks, kanban boards, and reminders. The latest design overhaul includes an improved sidebar and a new kanban view, alongside better support for Liquid Glass, making the app more user-friendly.
Available at no cost on the App Store for various Apple devices, including iPhone and iPad, Tasks offers a free tier. Users can opt for a Pro subscription priced at $3.99 per month, $24.99 annually, or a one-time payment of $79.99 for lifetime access. The app requires iOS 16.6 or later to function.
