Apple has introduced iOS 26.4, now available for download, featuring a variety of enhancements for iPhone users. This latest update, released on March 24, follows the previous update, iOS 26.3.1, which was focused on security improvements. Users can easily install the update by navigating to Settings, selecting General, and tapping Software Update.
Among the new features are eight unique emoji, including options like Orca and Treasure Chest, which have been approved by the Unicode Consortium as part of Unicode 17.0. Additionally, the Podcasts app now supports video podcasts, allowing users to watch while they listen. A new feature called Playlist Playground in Apple Music generates playlists based on user descriptions, enhancing the overall experience for subscribers.
Furthermore, a new setting titled Reduce Bright Effects has been added to minimize Liquid Glass effects across the device. This option is found under Accessibility in Display & Text Size, aiming to reduce visual distractions when interacting with the interface.
