The ‘Urgent’ reminders feature, initially launched in iOS 26.2, enables users to mark tasks with a due time as urgent, triggering an alarm when the deadline is reached. This alarm provides options to snooze for nine minutes or dismiss it, helping users manage reminders more effectively, especially during busy moments.
By consolidating important tasks into one list, the update aims to simplify the user experience for individuals overwhelmed by their ‘Today’ list. This feature is particularly beneficial for those who want to prioritize tasks that have hard deadlines.
