Google has introduced a new feature called Answer Now in its Gemini app, designed for users seeking quick responses. This functionality allows users to bypass detailed reasoning for faster answers, streamlining the response process.
The Answer Now button will be visible next to the loading indicator for those utilizing Gemini 3 Pro or the Thinking/Flash models. However, it is noteworthy that this feature is not available in the Fast model and may not be introduced in that version. Alongside this update, Google has revised usage limits for both the Thinking and Pro versions, setting daily prompt limits at 300 for Pro users and 100 for Thinking, with higher limits for Ultra users at 1,500 and 500 respectively.
To activate the Answer Now function, users can pose a general question and press the button, resulting in a swift response that confirms the decision to skip in-depth analysis. This enhancement is part of an ongoing rollout across all Gemini accounts, including free and paid versions, on platforms like Android, iOS, and the web.
