Firefox Nightly has introduced two new features: Split View and Tab Notes. This experimental version of the popular web browser now allows users to open two pages simultaneously within the same window, enhancing multitasking capabilities. Users can activate Split View by right-clicking on a tab and selecting the option, or by selecting multiple tabs and using the same menu to open them side by side.
Alongside this, users can utilize Tab Notes to attach notes to individual tabs, providing a way to remember the purpose of each open page. This feature is designed for users who keep tabs open for extended periods. Both functionalities are currently available in Firefox Nightly and are expected to transition to the Beta channel after further refinement.
Eventually, these features will be included in the stable version of Firefox, broadening the browser's usability. Mozilla aims to enhance user experience with these updates, which align with similar capabilities found in competing browsers like Microsoft Edge and Vivaldi.
