The latest update to Google's system services includes enhancements across various platforms such as Android phones, tablets, and Wear OS devices. Notably, users can now manage WhatsApp backups directly through their device settings, while improvements have been made to the Google Contacts sync feature.
This update also introduces a “Trusted” badge for eligible users on Google Play Store reviews, provided they participate in the Trusted Contributor program. Furthermore, users can access the newest features in Play Labs to assist in refining the Play Store experience.
To update, users should navigate to the Settings app, select their profile for “Google services,” and proceed to the All services tab under Privacy & security. While some features may appear in the changelog, they may not be immediately available to all users, as rollout can take several months.
Additional bug fixes and maintenance updates have been applied to various services, including improvements in system management for devices across Auto, PC, Phone, TV, and Wear categories.
