This summer, Whoop will introduce in-app video consultations for users in the United States, allowing access to licensed clinicians directly through the fitness tracker’s application. Alongside this service, the company has revealed plans to implement Electronic Health Record (EHR) syncing, enhancing the ability for both members and clinicians to review medical histories seamlessly.
These consultations are designed to provide a more thorough understanding of users' health, leveraging continuous data collection and, when available, pertinent bloodwork. The cost of this new service has yet to be disclosed.
In addition to the consultations, Whoop is launching AI-driven features, including My Memory, which enables users to tailor their coaching with personal context, and Proactive Check-Ins, offering training and recovery insights based on users' current life circumstances. This announcement follows closely after Google’s introduction of its screenless Fitbit Air fitness wearable.
