Adam Selipsky, who previously led Amazon Web Services, has assumed the role of co-founder and CEO at Helix. With extensive experience in cloud and enterprise technology, he intends to develop data centers and related infrastructure, focusing on power generation and connectivity to support large tech enterprises expanding their AI capabilities.
Selipsky emphasized the complexity of modern data center projects during an appearance on CNBC, noting that many large technology firms require reliable partners to navigate challenges in scaling and infrastructure development. He highlighted that over 25% of announced data center initiatives are not meeting their goals, underscoring the necessity for experienced operators in the field.
