Adobe is set to enhance its Creative Cloud suite with the introduction of public beta versions featuring its new AI assistants, available from Thursday. This initiative aims to integrate AI tools across several key applications including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, Illustrator, and Frame.io. The AI assistants were initially disclosed in April and represent Adobe's most significant investment in AI to date, aimed at facilitating creative processes rather than replacing human input.
The functionalities of these AI tools differ by application. Users of Photoshop can expect features like layer management and automated background removal, while Premiere Pro's assistant can organize videos and extract specific questions for clips. InDesign will benefit from automatic compliance checks against brand guidelines. Adobe emphasizes that the AI is intended to assist creators by streamlining workflows and allowing for greater control over the creative process.
Additionally, the Firefly Studio, Adobe’s platform for AI-related creation, will receive updates enabling users to save specific character designs and settings. The goal of these advancements is to provide a smoother creative journey, allowing users to refine their projects using tailored feedback, ultimately guiding them towards their ideal outcomes.
