Ait, who is currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication at the University of Washington, aims to secure an internship or entry-level position before his graduation in June. Originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan, he moved to the U.S. 18 months ago, driven by a childhood dream of studying abroad.
Despite his initial fears of networking with established professionals, Ait engaged with attendees, receiving compliments from 25 to 30 individuals for his unique approach. He expressed challenges stemming from his status as an international student and overcame feelings of imposter syndrome to connect with others at the event.
