Summation, a startup from Bellevue, Washington, has launched a bold advertising campaign with a bright orange billboard along SR 520, aiming to enhance its visibility among tech professionals. The billboard, which was installed two weeks ago near the Burgermaster restaurant, seeks to capture the ambitious spirit often associated with Silicon Valley.
Founded in 2024 by Ian Wong, a former CTO at Opendoor, and Ramachandran “RC” Ramarathinam, who previously led Opendoor’s core transaction platform, Summation focuses on providing AI-driven insights for enterprise leaders from extensive internal data. The company recently secured $35 million in funding from notable investors including Benchmark and Kleiner Perkins.
Currently, Summation employs around 35 people and is actively recruiting for various positions in engineering, product management, and marketing. Wong expressed a desire to showcase the innovative work being done in Bellevue, contrasting it with the more pronounced startup culture in the San Francisco Bay Area.
