Jeff Henshaw has taken on the role of senior vice president of quantum compute products at IonQ, following a long tenure at Microsoft. His experience includes advising various quantum companies and leading the development of Microsoft's Quantum Development Kit. Henshaw's focus on practical engineering at IonQ attracted him to the position.
In addition to his corporate roles, Henshaw is a co-owner of the Seattle Seawolves rugby team. His career at Microsoft spanned from 1989 to 2022, with a brief period as CTO at music tech venture DeepRockDrive.
Meanwhile, Joe Beda has been appointed as CTO of Stacklok, an AI startup in Seattle. Beda, who co-founded Heptio, previously worked at VMWare and has significant experience from his time at Google, where he contributed to the creation of Kubernetes.
After a break from the workforce, Beda expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity at Stacklok, stating he felt compelled to return from "semi-retirement." Harshit Shah has also joined LVT (LiveView Technologies) as CTO, leveraging his extensive background in AI and machine learning to advance the company's edge intelligence mission.
