Eric Boyd, after almost 17 years with Microsoft, is also leaving. He has played pivotal roles, including leading the AI Platform and the Azure AI team. Bobby Hollis, another notable departure, served as the vice president of energy for three years before moving on to an undisclosed position.
Chik expressed her enthusiasm for future endeavors in public company board work and venture capital, while Boyd hinted at upcoming announcements regarding his next steps. Hollis emphasized the ongoing importance of energy and technology in his future work. Meanwhile, Eric Rombokas has been appointed as the director of robotics and hardware at TerraClear, a startup focused on agricultural technology.
