At GeekWire’s Agents of Transformation event on Tuesday in Seattle, startup founders showcased innovative ideas in a competitive pitch format. The event featured presentations from four companies, with David Tepper of Pay-i taking home the top prize for his compelling pitch and ability to engage with the judges effectively.
Tepper's company focuses on AI spend management, emphasizing that traditional metrics only capture 72% of the total costs associated with AI initiatives. His platform aims to provide a comprehensive view of expenses, targeting organizations that invest over $500,000 annually in AI technologies.
Judges included Bryan Hale from Anthos Capital, Yifan Zhang of AI House, and T.A. McCann of Pioneer Square Labs, who evaluated the pitches based on presentation quality and responsiveness to questions. Other startups that participated included Cascade and Autessa, each presenting unique solutions to modern challenges.
