Humanly, a startup based in Bellevue, Washington, has expanded its capabilities by acquiring Anthill, a Chicago-based platform aimed at enhancing connections between companies and frontline employees. This latest acquisition comes after Humanly's successful purchase of three other recruiting technology firms last year, namely Sprockets, Qualifi, and HourWork.
The integration of Anthill will enable Humanly to enhance its offerings by adding new post-hire engagement capabilities. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, but Humanly plans to continue operating Anthill while figuring out how to incorporate its technology into its existing platform.
Founded in 2018 and currently led by CEO Prem Kumar, Humanly recently secured $25 million in a Series B funding round, bringing its total funding to $52 million. Anthill, established in 2020 by Muriel Clauson Closs, Young-Jae Kim, and Laura Silvester, has raised around $10 million to support its mission of assisting frontline managers with communication and operational needs.
