ArchAstro has officially launched its innovative artificial intelligence network aimed at streamlining the process of software deployments and integrations across different companies. Founded in 2023, the Seattle-based startup consists of a team of experienced engineers from prominent tech firms including Microsoft, Stripe, Statsig, and Meta.
The company has secured $6.2 million in pre-seed funding from notable investors. At the helm is co-founder and CEO Vivek Sharma, who has held significant roles in technical leadership at Meta and Stripe. According to Sharma, integrating even basic B2B software often requires substantial effort, a situation he describes as needing "hand-to-hand combat."
ArchAstro's unique approach involves using "Forward Deployed Agents," which are privacy-aware AI agents that facilitate secure cross-company integrations, migrations, and bug fixes. Unlike traditional AI agents, these are designed to operate across organizational boundaries, addressing the complex challenge of securely connecting disparate systems while minimizing data leakage risks.
As companies maintain control over their own agents, they can dictate their interactions, enhancing security and efficiency in software integration processes.
