Seattle-based startup Adronite has secured $5 million in a Series A funding round, led by Gatemore Capital Management. The investment aims to facilitate the growth of its AI-driven platform that enhances visibility into complex codebases for large organizations.
Adronite’s innovative tool distinguishes itself by analyzing entire codebases, rather than just individual files, making it applicable for both modern and legacy systems. This feature supports over 20 programming languages and has successfully processed a codebase containing 2.5 million lines of code. The platform also includes capabilities for app development from natural language prompts and an AI chat function that offers comprehensive system insights.
The company, founded in 2023 by CEO Edward Rothschild, a former Facebook engineer, anticipates starting its commercial deployments in the first quarter of 2026. Gatemore’s managing partner, Liad Meidar, has been appointed as chair of Adronite’s board as part of this funding round, which emphasizes the competitive landscape of AI developer tools.
