However, it remains uncertain whether the app will provide additional functionalities for federal employees, as it is expected to mirror the version available to the public.
Concerns have arisen regarding potential privacy risks associated with the app, particularly following its release in March. Cybersecurity experts have pointed out issues related to location tracking and the app's capability to share personal information with third parties. As the app is implemented on government devices, these security vulnerabilities could be exacerbated.
