Nvidia's GeForce Now service will introduce a new monthly limit for cloud gaming starting January 1, 2026, affecting nearly all users. This change means that after 100 hours of gameplay, additional fees will apply, with 15-hour increments costing either $2.99 or $5.99 based on the subscription tier.
The service is available in free, $10, and $20 tiers, offering access to a vast library of PC games through cloud streaming. While new users will face the 100-hour cap, existing paid members are not affected until the specified date, provided their subscriptions remain active and in good standing.
As of December 31, 2024, less than 6% of users will be impacted. GeForce Now members on the Performance and Ultimate tiers will be able to roll over up to 15 hours of unused time into the following month. Additionally, original "Founders" members will retain unlimited playtime for life, as long as their subscriptions do not lapse.
