The much-anticipated Trump Mobile T1 phone will commence shipping this week, nearly a year after its initial announcement. Customers who preordered the device can expect an email update from Trump Mobile regarding their orders. The phone, which was initially slated for an August 2025 release, encountered production delays due to quality assurance testing, according to CEO Pat O'Brien.
Notably, the device is reported to be a modified version of the T-Mobile REVVL 7 Pro 5G. The redesigned phone, now featuring a new look after several updates, will include advanced specifications such as a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen and a 50-megapixel front-facing camera. Trump Mobile, which began operations in June 2025 with a monthly plan priced at $47.45, has shifted its marketing language from "made in the US" to emphasizing a design aligned with "American values."
Despite the confirmed preorder status, some customers, including CNET Director of Content Patrick Holland, have reported issues with outdated payment methods and unclear shipping statuses. The company has promised that the T1 is worth the wait, emphasizing its commitment to delivering a quality product.
