The choice between the Samsung Galaxy Watch and the Google Pixel Watch remains clear for many Android users. After a period of using the Pixel Watch 3 and 4, I have returned to the Galaxy Watch 7, drawn back by its extensive features.
Over the years, I have utilized every model of the Galaxy Watch, except for the Galaxy Watch 8, while also experiencing every iteration of the Pixel Watch. My preferences in smartphones diverge significantly, as I often favor alternatives over Samsung devices, primarily due to the complexity of One UI.
However, Samsung's integration of One UI into its smartwatches enhances the user experience considerably. The ability to organize multiple tiles on a single screen and intuitive gesture controls, such as double-tapping to send voice replies, stand out. Additionally, the Galaxy Wearable app offers comprehensive control from a smartphone, streamlining tasks that can be cumbersome on a small watch display.
In terms of health tracking, Samsung Health currently surpasses Google Health, despite Google's efforts to strengthen its position in the fitness sector. While improvements are evident, a noticeable difference still exists between the two.
