Android 16 QPR3 is set to enhance connectivity features on Pixel devices with new settings aimed at optimizing battery life and network performance. The latest beta release introduces two default toggles under Adaptive Connectivity, designed to improve user experience by managing network connections more effectively.
One toggle, which ensures the device switches to mobile data when Wi-Fi is weak, may incur additional charges. The second toggle focuses on selecting the optimal network connection for better battery efficiency. This update replaces the previous single on/off switch found in the earlier QPR2 version and includes updated visuals for clarity.
In addition to these changes, Google also updated Adaptive Connectivity Services (version p.2026.01) recently. A final beta for Android 16 QPR3 is anticipated this month before the official rollout in March.
