The recent removal of OnePlus devices from Best Buy stores marks a significant setback for the brand, which has been struggling in the US market. In their place, Nothing Phones are now featured, as noted by users on Reddit who observed the changes at local Best Buy locations. Despite never having a robust presence in these outlets, OnePlus had maintained a foothold after losing US carrier partnerships.
Research firm Wave7, led by Jeff Moore, confirmed that the absence of OnePlus devices has been prominent in recent weeks, with Nothing Phone (3) and Phone (4a) Pro taking over the available display space. Images from Wave7 captured in October 2025 show OnePlus alongside other brands like Samsung and Google Pixel, indicating its previous standing in the market.
Currently, OnePlus products can still be purchased through Best Buy’s website, with in-store pickup options varying by location. However, the company's future in the US appears uncertain. In a statement made earlier this year, OnePlus mentioned it is “evaluating” its strategy for both Europe and North America. The brand's integration with Realme under Oppo's restructuring further complicates its position.
