Lenovo has announced two new high-end tablets aimed at enhancing the Android market, particularly for gaming and media consumption. The tablets unveiled at Mobile World Congress include the Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 and the Legion Tab Gen 5, offering competitive specifications in a landscape dominated by Samsung and Google.
The Idea Tab Pro Gen 2 features a 13-inch 3.5K LCD screen with a resolution of 3504 x 2190 and a refresh rate of 144 Hz, making it suitable for high-quality visuals. It is equipped with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor, up to 512 GB of internal storage, and 12 GB of RAM. Notably, it also supports microSD cards for up to 2 TB of additional storage and includes a 10,200 mAh battery.
On the other hand, the Legion Tab Gen 5 is designed for mobile gaming, boasting an 8.8-inch display with a 3K resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, it offers up to 16 GB of RAM and has a 9,000 mAh battery. Both devices will run Android, with the Idea Tab Pro launching with Android 16 and slated for future updates.
