HP has unveiled the Chromebook Plus x360, designed to enhance user experience on the ChromeOS platform with significant improvements. This new convertible laptop is notable for its 360-degree hinge, allowing users to easily transition between laptop, tablet, and stand modes, making it versatile for various activities such as watching movies or video calls.
The device features a 14-inch 2K IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 and a brightness of up to 300 nits. This aspect ratio of 16:10 offers more vertical space, reducing scrolling during document editing or web browsing. Under the hood, it is powered by an Intel Core 3 N355 processor with 8 cores and a turbo boost frequency reaching 3.9 GHz, suitable for everyday usage like web browsing and media streaming.
HP provides options for storage, including faster 256 GB or 512 GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSDs, alongside slower UFS configurations. Connectivity options include Intel Wi-Fi 6E or Realtek Wi-Fi 6, with Bluetooth 5.3 or 5.4. The laptop offers two USB Type-C ports for high-speed data transfer and power delivery, along with a headphone and microphone combo jack. Additionally, the x360 is equipped with a 1080p FHD camera featuring temporal noise reduction and a privacy shutter.
