The Fitbit Public Preview will expand its availability to 37 new countries, including Brazil, Germany, and Japan. This rollout follows the addition of food and water logging features, now accessible to free users. Alongside this, the app will support 27 new languages, enhancing user accessibility across regions.
Among the new functionalities, the app introduces VO2 Max, previously known as Cardio Fitness Score, which will be included in the Fitness tab under Key metrics. Furthermore, in the United States, users can expect the launch of the Medical Records feature, allowing them to integrate their medical history into the app. This feature aims to provide a comprehensive overview of health data, including lab results and medication history, all managed within the app.
Version 4.67 of the Fitbit app is set to roll out in the coming weeks, bringing these updates to users. With these enhancements, Fitbit aims to offer a more holistic view of personal health management.
