Version 4.66 of the Fitbit Android app is being released, introducing features from the recently announced Public Preview. Users can now access new options under the “Ask Coach” feature, specifically for “Hydration” and a simplified “Food” logging experience.
In addition to these changes, users will find a new “Nutrition” section within the Health tab, displaying statistics for energy burned, hydration, calorie targets, and macronutrients. The app also includes a revamped stress management metric, now referred to as “Resilience,” offering insights into stress levels categorized as Low, Balanced, or Optimal. Users can monitor their body’s responses to stress through updated tools.
Currently, the rollout of version 4.66 is ongoing via the Play Store, with full functionality available on iOS. Users who update can opt into the Public Preview, although access to the new AI-powered Coach is not included. The app aims to enhance health tracking and user engagement, with specific features like cycle health logging available for premium users.
