The launch of AMD's new processors aims to provide affordable options for gamers amid rising costs in PC building. The company introduced the Ryzen 7 7700X3D, slated to release on July 16 at a price of $329. This processor features 3D V-Cache technology for the AM5 platform, boasting a total cache of 104 MB and a maximum boost speed of 4.5GHz, all while maintaining a 120W TDP.
Additionally, AMD is reviving the Ryzen 7 5800X3D, originally discontinued in 2024, as a special 10th-anniversary edition to celebrate the AM4 platform. Priced at $349, this chip will be available starting June 25 and includes 100 MB of total cache with a similar boost clock speed of 4.5GHz, alongside a TDP of 105W. This re-launch provides an upgrade option for users still on AM4 systems, allowing them to enhance their setups without the need for new motherboards or costly DDR5 RAM.
