Starting this summer, members of Whoop in the US will have access to live consultations with licensed doctors through the app, enhancing their fitness tracking experience. The screenless Whoop 5.0 wristband gathers data on various health metrics, including sleep patterns and physical activity.
In addition to the clinician access, Whoop is introducing new AI-driven features such as My Memory and Proactive Check-Ins. These updates will allow users to personalize their health goals and receive recommendations based on their current circumstances.
Moreover, a partnership with HealthEx will enable secure syncing of electronic health records, though details on privacy measures remain vague. Other anticipated features include workout auto-detection, a revamped heart rate tracker, and improvements to the existing journal feature, which now allows users to log lifestyle changes through text or voice.
