Oura has introduced a new AI language model designed specifically to assist women with their reproductive health. This feature, part of the Oura Labs test platform, aims to provide personalized support based on a wide array of medical research and standards, reviewed by Oura’s clinicians and women’s health specialists.
The AI will enable users to inquire about various stages of reproductive health, from menstrual cycles to menopause. For instance, if a user questions irregularities in their cycle, the Oura Advisor can offer insights based on individual data and general trends, fostering informed discussions with healthcare providers.
Women interested in this feature will need to opt-in for access through the app. Oura has emphasized that user privacy is paramount; conversations will remain confidential and will not be used to train other AI systems. As of 2024, nearly 60% of Oura Ring owners are women, highlighting the relevance of this tailored AI model.
Available in two variations, the titanium Oura Ring 4 is priced from $350, while the ceramic version starts at $500. The development of this feature aligns with Oura's commitment to enhancing user experience and addressing specific market needs.
