NVIDIA has partnered with Meta in a significant multiyear agreement aimed at advancing both companies' infrastructure capabilities. This collaboration will focus on bolstering Meta’s AI infrastructure roadmap by developing hyperscale data centers optimized for training and inference tasks.
As part of the initiative, NVIDIA will supply millions of Blackwell and Rubin GPUs, along with Grace CPUs, which will be the first large-scale deployment of its kind. Additionally, the integration of NVIDIA Spectrum-X™ Ethernet switches into Meta’s Facebook Open Switching System is set to enhance networking performance.
The partnership also outlines plans for potential deployment of Vera CPUs by 2027, aiming to bolster Meta’s energy-efficient AI capabilities. Moreover, the collaboration emphasizes improving user privacy through the integration of NVIDIA Confidential Computing within WhatsApp, ensuring user data remains secure while enabling AI functionalities.
Both companies are committed to refining AI models tailored to Meta's core operations, with engineering teams actively engaged in optimizing performance and efficiency across their infrastructure.
